In today’s edition Joe Lycett and the judges are taking the sewers back in time, for tonight’s theme is the 1970s.
For their pattern challenge, the sewers have to create flared jeans, and to make things ever harder they have to make them using the fabrics and technology from the time. Afterwards, in the transformation challenge, they have to create punk-inspired outfits in 90 minutes. Finally, in the made-to-measure challenge, they have to create a maxi dress.
The Great British Sewing Bee is on BBC Two at 21.00.
