On an epic trip from the east to west, the Hairy Bikers are back and down to show off some of the best British food the North has to offer. In the first episode, they arrive in Lancashire, a region with cuisine to match anywhere in the country.
Some of the best gastro pubs, restaurants and diners, award winning producers of food, and enough top quality alcohol to keep the bikers happy are all native to the region.
Starting in the Trough of Bowland and ending at Notarianni’s famous ice cream shop, the bikers invite us to cook with them. Traditional steak, a mushroom and ale pie, a cheese-lover’s lasagne and stunning gin and key lime pie are on the menu in this programme.
