Dermot O’Leary returns to host the TV awards that are voted for by the public.
Once again, much of the focus is on Ant and Dec as they are up for the “TV Present” award again, which they always win. However, given what has happened to Ant last year, there is still the tiny chance that someone might stop them from winning for the 18th time. Outside of this, there is still the big battle to see who win best “Serial Drama” out of Corrie, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
The National Television Awards is on ITV at 19.30.
