In the second part, Amol discusses the period from 2018 to 2021 in the princes’ lives. A tumultuous time for not just the brothers, but all the royals. It saw happier events like the birth of Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and the royal tours of the Sussexes and Cambridges, but was also clouded by uncertainty.

He looks at the circumstances surrounding the Sussexes’ decision to back down from their senior royal roles, and the media frenzy around the Duchess of Sussex’s criticism of the royal institution and said news media.

We also explore the legal challenge brought by the couple against some newspaper groups from 2019, and consider the events’ similarities to Princess Diana’s experiences and her death – which was exacerbated by press harassment.
