One of the lesser known figures in British history, this programme looks at Duleep Singh, the last Maharajah of the Punjab.
However, when he was 10 the British took over his land and he himself was captured by the army. He was then raised as an aristocrat in England, becoming a friend of Queen Victoria, but when told of his true heritage, he rebelled and returned to India to fight against the colonial rule.
