In the last of the series, wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan heads to Ethiopia to uncover how tribes live so close to the creatures we only associate with danger, hyenas.
Starting in Addis Ababa, hyenas are often seen scouting for food and are left untouched as it is believed they ward off spirits. Gordon meets cattle-herders who have a vendetta against the animals as they kill their livestock and visits the medieval city of Harar, which has a reputation for having hundreds of hyenas, many of which inhabit the local graveyard.
