Channel 4’s Unreported World series is back for its 35th season and delves deeper into the matters you don’t hear about in the news than ever before. With a different presenter each time the series tackles war, famine, pollution and a plethora of other issues and current affairs, neglected by mainstream media outlets. The series is offers harrowing and thought-provoking insight into the hardships of a silent group, one unrepresented by western media, and the struggles they face on a daily basis.

In this episode, the first of six this series, we follow present Seyi Rhodes in his perilous journey through the ravaged streets of the war-torn Somali capital, Mogadishu as he investigates the raw-effects of war and the rise of an extraordinary band of volunteer workers who act as ambulances for those injured and the sick amidst the conflict and bloodshed in the city.
