Preview – Women’s World Cup: France v South Korea

Women's World Cup 2019

Tonight the Women’s World Cup finally kicks-off in France.

The country that currently hold the men’s title will be trying to secure the double, and hosting the tournament may well help them. They begin their campaign against South Korea, which will be an interesting game for the visitors, as South Korea were knocked out of the last World Cup by the French, losing 3-0.

However, arguably the biggest match of the tournament won’t come until Sunday, when the home nations finally meet in Nice.

France v South Korea is on BBC One a 19.30 (kick-off 20.00).
