In a tournament that has plenty of shocks already, the final first round matches begin.
The last players to begin include four-time champion and fifth-seed John Higgins, who is facing debutant Thepchaiya Un-Nooh of Thailand. Meanwhile 14th seed Anthony McGill takes on Ryan Day.
There is also the conclusion of the matches between Neil Robertson and Robert Milkins, as well as Jimmy Robertson and Mark Williams – the last of whom appears to have no connection to anyone called Robert.
The World Snooker Championship is on BBC Two at 10.00 and 13.00, with further coverage on the Red Button.
