The host nation is in action again as Russia begin their role in the round of sixteen.
Russia taken on Spain in their match, and although the Russia’s finished second in their group, arguably they are favourites, not just because of home advantage, but because they scored one point more than Spain in the group stages.
This evening Croatia, who finished very comfortably at the top of Group D with a five point margin, face Denmark who drew their last two games. This time however, if there is a draw, extra time will quickly follow.
