England will be attempting to book a place in the quarter-finals this evening.
Having written last week about the “curse of ITV” where England tend to lose more matches when their matches are shown on the commercial channel, some would argue the curse came in handy when England lost to Belgium last week, giving them an easier draw. However, we have to break the curse today as England’s game against Colombia is on ITV also.
Earlier on we will also find out who will be our potential opponents in our quarter-final should we win, as Sweden play Switzerland.
Sweden v Switzerland is on BBC One at 14.30 (kick-off 15.00).
Colombia v England is on ITV at 18.15 (kick-off 19.00).
