To put this into context, when England were last in a World Cup semi-final, I was three-years-old.
Now England have their best chance of getting into a World Cup final in ages as they take on Croatia in the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, which will also be the venue for Sunday’s final. Given the performances of Harry Kane and England finally winning in penalties, they will feel confident and motivated going into the game. Croatia meanwhile have had to go an even longer-way around, having to take part in two penalty shoot-outs where they defeated Denmark and the hosts Russia.
Can England finally make it to the final again?
Croatia v England is on ITV at 18.00 (kick-off 19.00).
