When talking about Russia’s first game against Saudi Arabia, I said there wouldn’t be much happening as they were the two lowest-ranked sides in the competition. How wrong I was.
Russia achieved the biggest victory of the tournament so far with a 5-0 win, which means that if they win against Egypt this evening they will be the first country to qualify for the knock-out stage. Before that there are the matches in the final group to take place, with Colombia facing Japan, while Poland take on Senegal.
Colombia v Japan is on BBC One at 12.30 (kick-off 13.00).
Poland v Senegal is on ITV at 15.25 (kick-off 16.00).
Russia v Egypt is on BBC One at 18.30 (kick-off 19.00).
