The 11th series of the BAFTA-winning comedy game show continues, with a cast of hopefuls who are all keen as a condiment to win the most revered gong in television: a vague representation of Taskmaster Greg Davies’ head sprayed with gold paint. Those contestants are: Charlotte Ritchie, Jamali Maddix, Lee Mack, Mike Wozniak and Sarah Kendall. As ever, Greg’s personal assistant Alex Horne takes notes, records times and offers very little assistance to the five competitors as they compete in a series of pointless tasks. It’s the final episode before the grand final, making it a semi-final, of sorts. All five comic contestants still harbour hopes of winning Greg’s splendid gilded head, even if those hopes range from ‘high’ (in the case of Sarah Kendall) to ‘forlorn’ (Charlotte Ritchie). Meanwhile, Lee Mack has a makeover, Jamali Maddix gets destructive with some rubble, and Mike Wozniak warns Alex about some potentially dangerous dairy produce.
