Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon star in Susanna Fogel’s comedy action thriller as two friends who become embroiled in international espionage after one of them gets dumped by a man who she didn’t even know was a spy. Audrey’s (Kunis) birthday has been wrecked by Drew (Justin Theroux), who’s just dumped her completely out of the blue – by text. Angry and upset, Audrey is convinced by her friend Morgan (McKinnon) to burn his stuff. Nothing like a bit of old-fashioned revenge. But when Drew returns to pick up a fantasy football trophy that he’s particularly concerned about – and that might be key to the plot – snipers begin frantically shooting up the apartment, trying to kill him. It turns out that Audrey’s ex is a CIA man, and some rather nasty people are after him at any cost. And now they’re after Audrey too. Surprise! Drew tasks her with delivering the trophy to Vienna to stop the killing, so she heads to Europe with Morgan in tow. Cue restaurant shootouts, pretending to be lesbians to evade the cops, and all the incompetent antics you might expect of two amateurs caught up in a deadly pursuit across borders.
