This Is MY House is the gameshow where four people all claim to own the same house – but only one of them is telling the truth, the other three are liars. The player who can convince a celebrity panel that they are the genuine article wins a cash prize. The celebs with the decision this week are Judi Love, Richard Madeley, Harry Hill, Harriet Kemsley and Kadeena Cox.
In this episode, four Anitas each try to convince the panel that they are the owner of an idyllic farm, complete with cows, goats, fancy pigeons and their farmer husband John.
The real Anita also happens to have the largest collection of royal memorabilia in the world, but which of the women saying they are Anita is likely to have made room for over 7000 royal items? To prove they are the real Anita, players have to recreate the speech they gave at their son’s wedding. However, for three of the Anitas they will be speaking from the heart in front of a congregation they’ve never met before. There’s a trip down memory lane as they sit down to watch the real Anita’s 1980 wedding cine-film that the imposters must provide a convincing account of.
It’s up to the celebrity panel to discount the liars and find the real homeowner amongst the imposters who are trying to be as convincing as possible. Whoever the panel pick at the end of the episode will win the cash prize.
At the end of the show, when the real homeowner is revealed, the panel find out if they’ve been duped by an imposter – or crowned the real Anita.
This Is MY House – Friday at 8.00pm on BBC One.
