Aisling Bea’s pin-sharp, poignant, BAFTA-winning comedy-drama returns for a second series. With her student Etienne (Dorian Grover) heading to Paris, Aine’s (Bea) excitement mounts as she prepares for a big date with his father, Richard (Tobias Menzies). Meanwhile, the new business that Aine’s sister Shona (Sharon Horgan) set up with Charlotte (Indira Varma) gets off to an awkward start. Aine helps Shona to unpack at her massive new house outside London, but Shona struggles to feel at home without her fiancé Vish (Aasif Mandvi), who’s away on business in New York.
