The Grindhouse style isn’t for everyone with its grainy footage, wonky editing and 70s style effects but once you’ve watched the trailer for Machete, you’ll be converted.
Harry from Ain’t It Cool News has received the trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s latest film and, with no exaggeration, it’s one of the best trailers we’ve seen this year.
Danny Trejo stars as Machete, a Mexican federale who gets double crossed by a scheming American politician. He gathers his troops for some balls out action: Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and a gun toting priest played by Cheech Marin.
And keep your eyes peeled for Lindsay Lohan as a nun. There’s a joke in there somewhere but we’re too excited to find it.
