I Am Number Four stars Alex Pettyfer (last seen in teen slasher Tormented) as one of group of nine aliens that seek refuge on Earth after their home planet is detroyed by an invading species.
Each of the nine aliens is given a guardian and will develop superhuman powers as they become adults. Predictably Number Four falls in love with a girl (Glee’s Diana Agron) and decides to make a stand against the aliens. It’s being produced by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg so expect lots of explosions and the story’s written partially by James Frey (who wrote reprehensible non-biography A Million Little Pieces)…so who knows what this could be like.
