There were some raised eyebrows when Robert Downey Jr (an American) was cast as Sherlock Holmes (definitely an Englishman) a couple of years back, but most of the critics were appeased when they looked upon Guy Ritchie’s film and saw that it was good.
Well the full trailer for the sequel Sherlock Holmes: Book of Shadows arrived on the interweb today (thanks to the lovely people over at MSN) and after watching it a couple of times we’ve decided to share it with you all. Unlike the first teaser, this offering – which is two over two minutes in length – gives us a lot more detail and crucially a proper look at Mad Men star Jared Harris as Holmes’ nemesis Professor Moriarty.
With a cast that also includes Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Fry and Gilles Lellouche, we can expect to see this little gem in UK cinemas on 16th December.
