A new international trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man has been released and there’s plenty of new footage for us to feast our eyes on. As you may have guessed, this origins tale will focus heavily on the loss of Peter Parker’s parents and his struggles with geekdom and the mysteries of his past. Evidently this is a struggle which eventually leads him to his old man’s one-time colleague Dr. Curt Connors – played by Rhys Ifans – who moonlights as The Lizard. We get our first good look at him here. Watch out for Sally Field as Aunt May as well.
The Amazing Spider-Man arrives in cinemas on 4th July.
