Last year Danny Willett became the first Briton to win the coveted Masters green jacket since Nick Faldo in 1996.

Willett is now back to defend his title – something that hasn’t been achieved since 2002 by Tiger Woods, who has withdrawn from this year’s tournament because of a back injury. However, Willett has not won a major tournament since his victory in Augusta, and he still has stiff competition to face this year.

Former Master champions including Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Zach Johnson, Vijay Singh, Bernhard Langer and Ian Woosnam will be among the field, as are the likes of Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Rory McIlroy, Ernie Els and the current champion of the British Open Henrik Stenson. Can Willett come good again or not?

The 2017 Masters Tournament begins on Sky Sports 1 & 4 at 19.00 on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday it is on Sky Sports 4 at 19.00, BBC Two at 19.30 and Sky Sports 1 at 20.00. On Sunday it is on Sky Sports 4 at 18.00, BBC Two at 18.30 and Sky Sports 1 at 19.00.
