Preview – Football: FA Cup Final, Manchester City v Watford

FA Cup

It certainly feels odd that for Manchester City, the idea of their side winning two trophies this year is actually kind of disappointing.

However, given that there were on course to win four, you can see why that is the case. Having won the Premier League last week and the League Cup earlier his season, but missing out on the Champions Leage, now we come to the FA Cup final, having made this far after defeating Brighton 1-0, so Man City can still achieve a domestic treble.

Their opponents are Watford, who reached this stage by defeating Wolves 3-2 after extra time. Given that, and the fact Watford finished 11th in the table, they are certainly the underdogs, but a giant-killing at Wembley would make for a wonderful fairy tale ending.

Manchester City v Watford is on BBC One and BT Sport 2 at 15.55 (kick-off 17.00).
