Last year, one of the biggest bands of the 1980s held a farewell reunion concert at the O2 Arena.

Soft Cell’s Marc Almond and Dave Ball are interviewed and profiled about their success, which led to among other things their hit single “Tainted Love” being the biggest-selling single of 1981, to the band’s eventual break-up three years later.

Almond discusses his past problems with drug addiction, and issues which include being raided by the police after the release of the video for “Sex Dwarf”.

Soft Cell: Say Hello, Wave Goodbye is on BBC Four at 21.00.
