As someone with a learning disability I am immediately drawn to Shaun Pye’s new comedy drama.

Based on Pye’s own experiences, the series follows the Yates family, where nine-year-old Rosie (Miley Locke) has a severe learning disability. Her parents Simon and Emily (David Tennant and Jessica Hynes) find that even the simplest of activities can be a strain on both her and themselves.

There She Goes is on BBC Four at 22.00.
