Preview – Women’s Football: Scotland v Jamaica

Scotland Jamaica

While much of the focus on the Women’s World Cup has been about England, we need to remember that they are not the only home nation in the tournament.

Indeed, England’s first game of the entire competition sees them up against Scotland, and the Scots have a warm-up match against Jamaica today, playing at Hampden Park – note the fact that the Scottish national side are playing in the country’s national stadium, while England’s 2-0 win against Denmark on Saturday was in Walsall, and that unlike Denmark, Jamaica are also in the world cup (although England do have one last friendly against World Cup qualifiers New Zealand next Saturday).

What can Shelley Kerr’s side show before the match against the Auld Enemy?

Scotland v Jamaica is on the BBC Red Button at 19.30 (kick-off 19.35).
