England and Scotland are back in action in the World Cup today.
Following on from England’s 2-1 win, which ended up surprisingly close and also became the UK’s most watched women’s football match ever (6.1 million viewers), both sides face the other members of the group. Scotland have the hardest of the two games, taking on Japan, the runners-up in the last World Cup.
Having faced one vicious rival in the form of the Scots, the English can qualify for the next round if the win against another old foe: Argentina. However, in their last World Cup game back in 2007, England defeated them 6-1. In that same tournament, Argentina lost to Germany 11-0.
