Like the old Hammerite adverts, this show does what it says on the tin. There are few surprises and I guess that’s part of the enduring appeal of Sarah Millican to her fans.
Millican has an incessant stream of near-the-knuckle humour that draws as many gasps from the audience as it does laughs. Her routine shifts from farting to sanitary products, then body image and shaming with a liberal sprinkling of domestic conflict and coitus initiation thrown in.
It’s almost as if she sat down and made a list of the taboos you wouldn’t want to discuss in front of your mother.
Funny, frank and unapologetically filthy, this is Sarah Millican at her hilarious best.
